Beatriz's Kiva loan

Entrepreneur: Beatriz
Location: Location Undisclosed, Peru

Beatriz used her Kiva loan of 2100 soles to buy more beef, pork and mutton to sell at her stand in the local market. She says her sales are steadily improving over time.

Beatriz has been a FINCA Peru client for the past six years. She and her family are doing well now, she says, and their lives have improved since she started working with FINCA. Over the past six years, she has used the money from her FINCA savings to build a house of her own, and all nine of her children have now graduated from high school. She says her goal for the future is to keep working and moving forward to get ahead in life.

Beatriz is pictured below (left) with Bartola, a fellow member of the Legion Village Bank, at this morning’s group meeting.
