Construction Entrepreneur: Mrs. Chheang Sothy Village Bank Group Location: Slab Ta Aon Village, Cambodia Mrs. Chheang Sothy is a garment factory worker who can make a little salary to support the family. Her husband is still employed in the same position as when they received the loan. Their living conditions are now improving because Mrs. Chheang Sothy can save some money for her family, and she also conducts a new business which it is a beauty salon by using the saved money to start her new business. This new business helps her to improve her standard of living because she now has a lot of customers. Unluckily, Mr. Sreng Chamroeun got a motorbike accident during Chinese New Year which was on January 26, 2009 and he spent around $20 on treatment. Mrs. Chheang Sothy is also going to ask for a loan for the next term in order to buy more beauty supplies for her business. Mrs. Chheang Sothy’s husband and son are presented in the picture.
