As you know, your generosity helped Jesca obtain a loan of $1050 in September 2008. She is running a poultry business and used the loan to purchase 500 chickens. She works hard at her business. Since she took out the loan, her business has been doing well and Jesca was able to pay bills, buy food for her family and to pay other expenses. In the future, she is planning to request another loan from SELFINA with which she planed to expand her business. On the personal front, her family is doing well. As you may remember, she is married and has three children. SELFINA aims to continue to assist Jesca and other women like her, and empower them towards financial security and increased confidence through micro loans.
