Journal Update Entrepreneur: Ou Sovanareth Location: Siem Reap Province, Cambodia Ou Sovanareth, 42, is a true entrepreneur and works with her husband, Huy Davroeun, 47, selling used clothes at the market. She requested the loan so that she is able purchase more clothes to expand her business. A CREDIT MFI loan officer recently visited Sovanareth to check on her progress. After receiving her loan, Sovanareth and her husband used the money to buy more used clothes to resell. Sovanareth said that their business is sometimes difficult because of current financial crises. in the future she plans to take out another loan so she can build an even larger business. When asked, Sovanareth said she was thankful to CREDIT for its good service, and to Kiva lenders for supporting her loan.
