Genifer Ngonda, age 55, is a widow with six children (ages, 36, 34, 32, 30, 27 and 25). She has a chicken business which she started in 1987. She opens from 7am to 5pm daily and is able to make a monthly profit of about $435.

In the past Genifer has taken out three loans from Tujijenge Tanzania to buy chicken feed. She hopes for a new loan to build a water reserve pit because of the shortage of water in her area. She also plans to buy more chicks. Genifer will share this loan with her subgroup, which belongs to Ngorongoro, who deal in selling fish, soap, clothes, rice and the tailoring business.

I am happy to report she is doing extremely well. With the loan she received, she purchased medicine, chicken feeds and a water tank. As a result, her monthly profit rose to $300! Gevifer uses the additional profits to cover household expenses and to develop on the land she has just bought Gevifer and the Ngorogoro group are very grateful for the loan and are thankful to every one who has supported them.
