Norng Chantrea

Norng Chantrea is 33 years old and resides with her child in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Since 1993, she has been working as garment factory worker to earn a living and is able to make US$3 each day. Her husband, Soam Yon, is a construction worker and sometime when he free he operates a motor-taxi business as well. On average, he makes about US$5 of profit per day from two activities.

To make more money, Norng Chantrea decided to ask for a loan of US$1200 from CREDIT to replace her husband's motorbike and the rest is used to complete her construction. The old motorbike is unreliable and too old to operate a moto-taxi. That is why, she replace for him. Her husband is able to make US$20 in revenue every day.

She would like to see her business expanded and her income continue to increase, and in the future she will not hesitate to borrow again. She looks forward to the opportunities provided by this loan and has been very pleased with the results so far.
