Robinah Prossy's Group

She resides and works in a semi-urban area on the outskirts of Kampala. Robinah works six days a week and rents her business space. Her greatest monthly expenses include her rent, school fees, and medication. She is a tailor and also sells new clothes like bitenge and African attire. Robinah sells to an average of five people per day. She uses public transportation to buy her materials from Kampala. Robinah has been in this business for the last eight years.

Robinah has been with MCDT for the last six years and thirteen loans, working all this time with her same groupmates. She wanted to use this loan to invest in a video camera and to add more stock to her retail clothes. She aspires to buy more sewing machines and start a training school.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
