Shamim M. Hussain's Group

Shamim baji is the wife of M. Hussain and lives in a city named Pakpattan. Pakpattan is famous for its historical and holy places. She has been living in this city for the last 2 years. She has one daughter who is 2 years old. Shamim baji's husband is a loader by profession. He loads the luggage on his donkey cart and moves it to the customer's desired place. He has been in this job for the last 5 years. Shamim baji has a business of making cots from rope. She successfully completed her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute in Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy rope to make more cots to sell.

She is joined in her loan group by several more members. Iqbal baji wants a loan to buy a grinder machine to grind wheat. Munawar baji wants a loan to buy utensils for her food business. Noor baji wants a loan to buy leather to make shoes. Sugran baji wants a loan to buy a donkey cart. Zainab baji wants a loan to buy a rope machine to make cots.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
