Danaya is a merger of six women with an average of 33 years of age and 3 children. They live with their children and spouses in monogamous families in the Hamdallaye area in the city of Sikasso (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

United by professional relations and by being neighbors, these women are involved in the sale of beauty products (various types of milks, cremes, pommades, lotions) and shoes (generally plastic).

In order to satisfy the increasing demands of their customers, members of Danaya have decided to integrate their plans. Their first experience is now, with Soro Yiriwaso.

They plan to purchase, with this loan, in the large market of Sikasso 40 pairs of plastic shoes and 10 cartons of different types of beauty products.

The products bought will then be sold in the city of Sikasso through mobile methods, at the market in the Médine area and in the fairs in the surrounding villages comprised mostly of female customers. They are hoping to earn a profit of aproximately 20,000 FCFA per month (about $ 43) which will be used to pay off the interest on this loan and to serve the needs of thier families.
