The Amigos Por Siempre ("Friends Forever") group is made up mostly of young mothers who are trying to get ahead with their businesses. The ten women and two men in the group live in the Cochabamba region of central Bolivia and work in different areas, depending on the season. Right now, Erika and Alejandrina both own neighborhood stores. Leonor sells ice cream, Graciela and Jhonny Alberto sell candles for religious rituals, Jeankarla and Gladys sell t-shirts at local fairs. Ricardo sells athletic clothing, and Paola sells prepared meals. It's only appropriate that many of the group members work selling food, since "cochabambinos" pride themselves on being the most food-loving of all Bolivians.

Most of the group members have one to five years of experience, with the exception of Flora, who has had her shop for 10 years, and Patricia, who has worked at a general store for 12 years. The group members will use their Kiva loans to purchase more merchandise to sell at their repective businesses.

The group gets along well and is very cheerful, as you can see in their picture.
