Esperanza Del Este Group

To form the present committee, Mrs. Rumilda Martínez, who lives in the km 10 Monday de C.D.E. zone, contacted the Fundación Paraguaya consultant in order to learn about the financing programs available from this institution.

Mrs. Martínez contacted her neighbors and friends to form a committee from their area. The after various meetings, they formally formed a committee that the call “Esperanza del Este” (Hope of the East) and there are 18 women members, all from this area.

The women have different activities such as selling clothing, food, fruit, vegetables and some also do jobs such as cleaning homes and they have a weekly or monthly income.

The women are asking for a loan of 300.00 Gs for each member. They will use the loan to buy clothing, basic needs items, food, and more to then resell.

Para la formación del presente comité la señora Rumilda Martínez quien vive en la Zona del km 10 Monday de C.D.E. contactó con el asesor de Fundación Paraguaya par informarse acerca de los programas de ayuda financiera que tiene la institución.

La Señora contacto con sus vecinas y amigas para formar el comité de dicha zona. Luego de varias reuniones se formó el comité que se denomina Esperanza del Este y está constituido por 18 señoras todas de la misma zona.

Las señoras tienen actividades diferentes, como ser venta de ropas, comestible, confites, frutas, verduras y también algunas realizan trabajos particulares como limpiadoras a domicilio y cuentan con un ingreso semanal o mensual.

Las señoras retiran un crédito de 300.000 Gs c/u. Ellas retiran el crédito para la compra de ropas, artículo de primera necesidad, comidas y otros. Para su posterior venta.
