Rahmatuloeva Fotima is a single mother of six children. She decided to start her own business to be able to support her children, to provide them with education, food, and a home. Update on Fotima Rahmatuloeva's Loan Entrepreneur: Fotima Rahmatuloeva Location: Dushanbe, Tajikistan Fotima sells curtains at an outdoor stand at the Dushanbe market. She used her loan to purchase more curtains and hopes that this purchase will help her to grow the business. Fotima buys the curtains from a middleman who brings them all the way from China. Eventually, she would like to go to China to buy the material directly. Fotima was a teacher for 25 years but left the profession because it was too difficult. She has owned the business for around 12 years and became an IMON client 6 years ago. She feels confident that the loans have helped her to improve her standard of living.
