Bushra Sharif Masih's Group

Bushra baji and her husband are very kind persons and their wish is to give their children a better future, because they know the value of education. Her husband works in a factory. Bushra baji has a clothes business. She buys clothes of good quality from her native city, Multan. She has been in this business for the last 8 years. She successfully completed her first two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute in Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy more clothes to re-sell.

She is joined in her loan group by several more members. Kaniz baji and Afshan baji each want a loan to buy cosmetics for their beauty parlors. Niamat baji wants a loan to buy scrap (plastic bottles, papers) for her scrap business. Azra baji wants a loan to buy material (beads, cloth, and colored thread) for her boutique.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
