Rice Soup

Entrepreneur: Mr. Eim Sarin Village Bank Group
Location: Slab Ta Oan Village, Cambodia

Mrs. Eim Sarin has been selling Chinese noodles for many years. She uses the loan which she obtained to buy beef, plates, spoons and so on for her business. In her business, she now has a lot of customers. Since this business is going well, she also has an extra product which is a rice soup to sell to her customers as breakfast. In this afternoon, she also sells dessert to the villagers and people passing through. All of these businesses can improve her living conditions and provide a better life for her family. Her husband is still working in the same position as a motorbike taxi driver and can also generate income to support the family. Her children are in the same position as when she requested the loan. However, Mrs. Eim Sarin also faces problem with her health because she now has a high blood pressure which is difficult to cure.

For the next loan cycle, she is going to obtain a loan for her third child’s study. This is because her child is now 11th grade and needs to spend a lot of money on extra classes for the examination to move to 12th grade.
