This is a married man, Laal Agha; he is 24 and the father of two children, in the Shewa district. There are 6 members including his parents in his family. His father is about 60 and retired, and his older son is 6 years old and studying in his first year in a public school in his village.

When Laal Agha got married he was about 14, and he was studying in the 8th grade. His father was working as a headmaster in a public school, but after two years his father has retired and became so weak. So Laal Agha left his studying and started a business with 35,000 Afghanis of his own capital.

First he made a small retail shop in his village. For a few months he encountered a lot of financial difficulties because he didn't have enough goods in his shop, so he couldn't find costumers. But after a short time he started farming beside his shop, and he was able to solve the problems little bit.

Laal Agha has kept this business for 6 years, but last month he changed his business and made a mobile phone shop instead of retail shop. Because he saved some money during the last 6 years of shopkeeping, he made some new shelves in his shop and has spent $240 in its decoration. Just $200 remained of the capital in his hands, so he purchased some mobile phones with that. But he wants to buy more mobiles and phone cards to increase his costumers, so he has requested a loan.

Laal Agha dreams someday that he'll stand on his own feet and restart his remaining education once again. Also, he shows his appreciation to the lenders in advance.
