Erkin Khatamov

Erkin is a resident of Spitamen, a small village type town near Khujand. Before August 2003, Erkin was engaged in trade of essential commodities in the Spitamen Food market, had a small assortment, and his actives were insignificant. He has a wife and two daughters. The food market was far away from the street where he lives and he always thought that it would be good idea to open a shop in his own neighborhood. He invested all his profit into this idea. At the beginning Erkin’s shop consisted only of one table, where all his goods were placed. His shop is known for low prices and always-fresh goods. He constantly worked on expansion of his assortment and the quality of the sold goods. He brings the goods from the big market in the city. Now he wants to build additional shelves in his shop and will use his loan for that. He wants to achieve a day when buyers can find all necessary things in his shop.
