Razia M.ilyas's Group

Razia baji is the wife of M.Ilyas and lives in the small area of Kot Radha Kishan, Kasur, Pakistan. She owns a two room brick house and has been living in it for the last 9 years. She is a mother of one son. His name is M.Nadeem and he is 3 years old. Her husband is a vegetable seller and has been in this profession for the last 10 years. Razia baji is a housewife and takes care of her family. She has successfully repaid her four loans from Asasah (a Pakistan microfinance institute ). Now she is applying for a loan to expand her husband's vegetable selling business.

Razia baji is joined in her loan group by four more members. Haseena baji and Kosar baji each want a loan to buy a buffalo for milk selling. Naziran baji wants a loan to buy medicines for her medical store. Shahnaz baji wants a loan to buy shoes for her shoe selling business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
