Sugran baji is a wife of M.Ameen and lives in a small city named Kasur, Pakistan. She has been living in this city for the last 25 years. She is the mother of four children: one daughter and three sons. Her elder son makes embroidered dresses. The next eldest to him has a lathe job. Her husband is a teacher and teaches the students about Islam (Muslim religion). Sugran baji is a hardworking lady, and she teaches her children to be hard workers. She is a housewife but she has a thread-making business. She buys sweaters and removes the threads from them. After washing it, she sells the thread in the market and earns a profit. She successfully completed her two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy material (thread, cloth) for her elder son who is in the decorative embroidery profession.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Khursheed baji wants a loan to buy a lathe machine. Nazia baji wants a loan to material (lentils, cooking oil, rice) for her grocery shop. Parveen baji and Naziran baji each want a loan to buy supplies (chair, mirror) for her beauty salon. Zareena M.Ameen wants a loan to buy material (thread, cloth) for her embroidery business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
