Tanveer M. Anwar's Group

Tanveer baji is divorced from Mr. M. Anwar. She has been living in a city named Multan, Pakistan, for the last 5 years. She is the mother of three sons. Her elder son works in a factory. The next eldest is in the 7th standard grade. Her younger son is in the 6th standard grade. Tanveer baji has a cloth-selling business. She chose this profession because there is strong demand for her cloth in the market. She collects good profits from this business. She successfully completed two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy more cloth to resell.

She is joined in her loan group by a few more members. Parveen baji wants a loan to buy more milk for her milk business. Another group member named Parveen baji wants a loan to buy animals for her meat business. Shameem baji wants a loan to buy spicy nimko to resell.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
