Update from Peru on your loan!

Feliciana is a member of Nobleza (“Nobility”) Community Bank. Feliciana is 42 years old, married, with 4 children. She has a store in her home where she sells groceries, soft drinks, fruits, gas, and ice cream, with the help of her daughters. Felicia also travels on weekends to markets where she sells clothing such as hats, shoes, and she sometimes buys cheese and grains, which she sells in her neighborhood.

Feliciana used her loan to purchase more merchandise for her shop. Her business has been going well and she has had no trouble making loan repayments in a timely fasion. The loan has helped her to augment her business with the products she was not carrying before. Now, when people visit her store, she has more things to offer that they need. She dreams of opening her own shop, which she would own and use to sell clothing. Feliciana’s favorite things about working with FINCA are the ‘charlas’ (community discussions) they hold, and the educational business classes taught during the community bank meetings she attends.

Below is a photo taken last week of Feliciana.
