The Community Bank of Fajardo is made up of 16 clients from the Huancapi community, which is in the capital of the Huancapi district in the Ayacucho department. This community is primarily employed in farming cereals and alfalfa.

Raida Huamani has a small store where she sells office supplies, drinks, fruits, and photocopies. She also has a trout farm and she raises guinea pigs in her home. At the moment Raida has 200 guinea pigs, and the business is going well. At the Community Bank Raida has learned to save, to love herself, and to value herself as a person. She also receives loans easily, and she relaxed with the knowledge gained during the Bank's training sessions. Raida dreams of improving her guinea pig business and sending her daughters to school, even though they are also entrepreneurs. Raida would like to save money to open a poultry shop with her daughters.

Felipa Gamboa sells groceries and hardware. She also buys cereals to sell in Ayacucho. Felipa raises guinea pigs and grows tomatoes and other vegetables to sell. Felipa says that she’s never had the opportunity to save or to take out loans, but in the Community Bank she learned to value herself, to work hard, and to get ahead with her family. Felipa’s dream is to improve her business and buy a car. Her son is graduating from the police academy and with her savings she’d like to send her other children to school.

Lucia Eudosia Pincos De Fernández has a small grocery store. She also plants vegetables, and buys tara and suckling pig. At her Community Bank Lucia has learned to treat her customers well, value herself as a woman that has everything. Lucia says that while she is healthy she’ll do everything that she can to achieve her dreams. Her only dream is to save for when she and her husband reach old age, as they are older and their children are fully grown. Lucia would like to have savings available for when she needs them, especially for medical care.
