Kuña Katupyry Group

The Kuña Katupyry women’s committee was formed after the disbanding of another group in the zone. Some of the women of that group decided to form a new group because they were too far from the meeting place. Just like all the other groups, they attended four meetings prior to receiving the loan and agreed to the terms and conditions set by the program.
Upon getting started, 18 women, who each received 300,000.00 Paraguay Guarani, used the funds for their businesses. Many of the members make handicrafts while others have food, drink, or natural remedies businesses, among other activities. The program is currently in its 5th cycle. The group is pleased to work with Fundación Paraguaya and invite the other women in their neighborhood to participate in the program since aside from the loan benefits, they also receive training in order to help their businesses succeed, while their children receive both free music lessons and money saving courses.

El comite de mujeres " Kuña Katupyry", se conformo debido a la desintegracion de un grupo de la zona, un grupo de ese comité decidio conformarse en uno nuevo, ya que ellas se encontraban muy alejadas del lugar de reunión. Al igual que todos los comités asistieron a cuatros reuniones previas al crédito y estuvieron de acuerdo con todas las condiciones ofrecidas por el programa.
Al iniciar formaron parte del comité 18 señoras que recibieron un crédito de 300.000Gs cada una, que lo destinaron para sus negocios, dentro del comité hay muchas personas que se dedican a la artesanía y otras tienen negocios de ventas de comidas, bebidas, remedios naturales, etc. Actualmente se encuentran en el 5to ciclo del programa, El comité se encuentra muy a gusto trabajando con la Fundación Paraguaya e instan a las demás señoras de su barrio a participar del programa, pues además del beneficio de obtener créditos, las mujeres reciben capacitación para llevar adelante sus negocios y sus hijos reciben educación musical gratuita, educación para el ahorro infantil.
