Zuhra M.amin's Group

Zuhra baji is the wife of Muhammad Amin and has been living in this city called Borewala, Pakistan for the last 14 years. She owns a two-room brick house. She is the mother of six children: four sons and two daughters. Her children are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood. Her husband sells sugarcane syrup and has been in this profession for the last 5 years. Zuhra baji successfully completed her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is requesting a loan to buy another juicer machine to expand the business.

She is joined in her loan group by 3 other members. Nazia baji requests a loan to buy a shopper maker machine. Zahidan baji requests a loan to buy fertilizer for her land. Parveen baji requests a loan to buy more beams for her rental beams business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
