María Esperanza Franco De Solar

Maria Esperanza is 46 years old and married. She studied through high school and supports 5 children, 2 of which are working while the other 3 are still students. She lives in the district of Salaverry in the Province of Trujillo, La Libertad. When she was studying high school she learned how to make purses. When she finished her studies she dedicated herself to this small business which she started thanks to a small amount of money she had saved. Later her friends encouraged her to participate in the Communal Bank “LAS EMPRENDEDORAS”. With her first loan of 200 Soles she purchased buckles, closures and other supplies to invest in her business. With a new loan for 1,700 Soles, to be repaid within 6 months, she will purchase decorative ribbons to make shirts and other hand sewn products for some children’s playcenters. She currently acts as Secretary of her Communal Bank and she is very happy to work with the other members. One of her goals is for her younger children to become professionals since her older children never had the opportunity to complete their studies.

La señora María Esperanza está casada, tiene 46 años, estudió secundaria completa, tiene 05 hijos, 02 trabajan y 03 son estudiantes.
Vive en el distrito de Salaverry de la Provincia de Trujillo, departamento de La Libertad.
Cuando estudiaba secundaria aprendió en su colegio a confeccionar carteras así que cuando terminó de estudiar se dedicó a este negocio gracias a un pequeño ahorro que tenía. Posteriormente sus amigas la animaron a participar en el Banco Comunal “LAS EMPRENDEDORAS”, y con el primer préstamo de S/. 200.00, compró broches, cierres, para hacer manualidades e implementar el negocio.
Con el préstamo de S/. 1,700.00, el cual será cancelado en 6 meses, comprará bordados en cinta, confeccionara polos y elaborará algunas manualidades para algunos jardines de la infancia.
Actualmente tiene el cargo de secretaria en el Banco Comunal al que pertenece y se siente muy contenta de trabajar junto con el resto de socias.
Tiene como meta hacer profesionales a sus hijos menores ya que sus hijos mayores no tuvieron oportunidad de estudiar.
