Ezzat-ullah Said Nabi

After graduating from high school, Ezzat wanted to go to college but the financial conditions of his household did not allow him to do so. He had to take the responsibility of supporting his family and therefore he opened a retail store.

Ezzat-ullah was 18 when he started the business; however he did not have a lot of experience but always had the motivation to work and support his family. First he made a small shop which didn’t have many things. But the shop was in a good location and before long he attracted a lot of customers. In order to expand his business, he borrowed some money from one of his friends and made some new shelves in his shop. He has repaid that loan but he wants to buy a freezer for his shop to keep juices or other beverages cold enough so as not to lose his loyal customers. Ezzat-ullah has, therefore, applied to AFSG for a loan in the amount of 50,000 Afghanis (US$ 1,100).

Ezzat-ullah hopes that through improving his business by getting this freezer, he will be able to increase his profitability. He dreams of restarting his education and becoming an engineer. He also wants to make a bright future for his younger siblings.
