Sessou Awoma was born in 1957 in Anfoin. Widowed mother of four children, she is presently living in Aklakou where she has been in business for some twenty years. The sale of balls of cornmeal porridge is greatly appreciated by the people of her town. For that reason, they call her Mama Akumeto. She has plenty of experience in her work, but she became a widow at a young age and is solely responsible for her family.

She is asking for a loan of $950 so that she can maintain a constant stock of corn and be able to satisfy the demands of her clientele. This will allow her to increase her savings and improve living conditions for her family.
