Journal Update Entrepreneur: Chhup Phorn Location: Siem Reap Province, Cambodia Dear all Kiva's lenders, I recently visited Chhup to check how she use the loan. I found out that she took the loan to purchase a motorbike for her son to commute to work and the rest is used to buy a pair of cows. She has been very pleased with the result of her investment.She currently make about US$3 of profit every day and a week she is able to save US$4 to US$5. With this increased profit, she will save it and plan to purchase a plot of land so that she can expand her cultivation. There are no problems paying a loan back to CREDIT. She said her son also contribute to repay a loan each month too.
