Born in 1971, Delphen Mah has been finding difficulties trying to raise business capital to make necessary investments in her pig farm. She is married to Esau Ngoh and has 6 children. She joined GHAPE in 2001 and, she has successfully borrowed and repaid seven loans from GHAPE. She was unable to invest her first loan because of ill health, but now, she has greatly improved on her management skills and is capable of investing bigger loans.
Pig farming is a very profitable business in her community when done on a large scale. Motivated by her ambitions and given this loan, she plans to expand her business through purchasing additional piglets, feed, and feeding troughs. She will use the profits to provide the basic needs of her family. She plans to repay the loan in 24 months.
