Muhammad Aman, son of Jelani, is one of the residents of the Ningarhar province. He is 55 years old, and there are 6 members in his family. They were living in Peshawar, Pakistan, as refugees since 1985, but recently they have returned to their own country, Afghanistan.

Muhammad Aman is the only financial supporter of his family. He is an old and weak man but he must work and find food for his family, so he is working as a farmer in the agricultural lands near his house. He can't solve his all problems with his small amount of income because his current amount of income is just about $60-70 per month, and it is difficult to solve his all problems. He wants to buy many seeds and increase his products. For this goal, he applied to AFSG for a loan of 30,000 Afghanis, and he hopes that he will improve his business with this money.

Muhammad Aman after loan

Entrepreneur: Muhammad Aman Jelani
Location: Jalalabad, Afghanistan

Muhammad Aman is 55 years old and he is a farmer. With the money he received from his loan, Aman was able to plant 15 sacks of potato seeds. As we speak to him, he smiles saying that the price of potatoes is very good. Prior to the loan. He is happy because he knows that his crops will be ready just in time for summer. He plans to sell these crops and with the money, he will be able to buy more land to farm. He is appreciative because since receiving his loan, he has been able to increase his crops and vegetables. Aman is very grateful to those who provided him with the loan because they have provided him the opportunity to continue battling and tend to his daily activities.
