Nuon Phorn

Thank you for your loan. It has been disbursed to Nuon Phorn by CREDIT, a partner of World Relief in Cambodia. We are excited to watch this business grow. Over the next 18 months, CREDIT, a partner of World Relief will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

Nuon Phorn, 28, is married and lives in Kampong Cham province with her young child. She works in a grocery store, making around $2.50 a day, while her husband makes around $5 a day as a doctor.

Nuon Phorn took out a loan of US$1000 to purchase a motorbike and expand her grocery business. She has been pleased with the results of her investments and can see her business growing. Not so long since she loan from CREDIT, she changed her business. So far, she not selling grocery items. Instead she has purchased music equipments to hire to villagers when ever they have a party or wedding ceremony. Recently, she is able to make about US$10 in revenue per day. She has no problems paying a loan back to CREDIT. In the future, she planned to purchase a truck to transport music equipments.

She would like to see her business expanded and her income continue to increase, and in the future she will not hesitate to borrow again. She looks forward to the opportunities provided by this loan and has been very pleased with the results so far.
