Loan Update Entrepreneur: Long Puthida Location: Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia Long Puthida, 24, lives with her husband and three children in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Long is a housewife, and her husband raises pigs. Long requested this loan so she could buy ducks and more pig feed. A CREDIT MFI loan officer recently visited Long to check on her progress. After receiving her loan, Long bought ducks to raise. She collects their eggs and sells them near her home. She says that life is better now that she is working because the extra income helps her family, especially to pay for food, schooling costs, and animal feed.
