Huy Eoun

Huy Eoun, 48, lives with her husband and four children in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Huy and her husband are farmers, and requested this loan so they could buy a truck for their son.

A CREDIT MFI loan officer recently visited Huy to check on her progress. After receiving her loan, Huy bought a small truck, which her son uses to transport rubber trees. With her son's extra income stream, the family's standard of living has improved significantly. They can now afford better food, and are able to make investments in their other businesses.

In the future, Huy wants to save up so she can buy a better truck, because the one she purchased for her son is old and used, and sometimes breaks down.

When asked, Huy said she was thankful to CREDIT for its good service, and to Kiva lenders for supporting her loan.
