Mrs. Ly Pheun and her husband, Mr. Nak Hin, are subsistence farmers in Trapaing Angkrorng Village in Kampong Speu Province. She is 39 years old and married with three children, two of whom are attending school while the other is too young. During the rainy season, Mrs. Ly Pheun cultivates rice and during the dry season, she grows different kinds of vegetables. In her plantation business, Mrs. Ly Pheun always hires a laborer to plow her rice field because she does not own a draft animal. Mrs. Ly Pheun currently would like to plow the rice field by her self, therefore, she is asking for a loan to buy cows. Previously, Mrs. Ly Pheun obtained a loan to cultivate watermelons on her field. Her husband and her son are presented in the photo.
