Amidu Conteh is the Kafe Semiria group leader and is married with 7 children. Fifty years old, Amidu sells second-hand clothes in Magburaka town. With his previous loan, he increased his stock by 3 bails of clothes and generated more income. His business is the major source of income for the family, and he was able to meet his children's educational expenses. He would like to increase his inventory and use the income/profit to invest in agricultural production. The group is therefore requesting a loan of Le. 2,800,00 (Le. 700,000 each) to expand their various businesses.

A Journal Update for Kafe Semiria Group

Entrepreneur: Kafe Semiria Group
Location: Magburaka, Tonkolili, Sierra Leone

I recently paid a visit to Amidu Conteh (second from right), leader of the Kafe Semiria Group, in his stall at the centre of Magburaka town to get a journal update about his business. As you may already know, Amidu sells clothes right at the centre of town. With the loan he received from you, Amidu was able to increase his stock of goods. He bought two bales of second hand clothes to add to his older stock. This made his sales to increase and consequently the profit he makes. Business is going on fine for Amidu and he enjoys doing it. Amidu depends on this business alone for his survival. From the profit he makes, he is able to make his monthly repayments, feed his family and send the children to school. Amidu sends a lot of thanks to you and he hopes that you will continue giving him your support.
