In the city of El Alto in the Adela Villa zone, the center with the same name can be found. Within this center, we find the assocation called "Tata Santiago." Fifteen members form this very united and organized group. Only eight of them have completed school; the rest regrettably learned to read and write at a very basic level. It is a great dream of theirs to enroll in a school for adults to finish their studies, but due to their lack of resources, at the moment they can't do it.

The majority of them are dedicated mainly to the sale of fruits and vegetables on different streets in the city of El Alto. Now that winter has arrived, these types of products tend to raise in price because of the frosts in the fields. This is why they need to strengthen their capital to acquire these products, which they do every two weeks. They also hope to be able to rent or buy stands in the city's markets to assure the sale and conversvation of their products. In this way, they can obtain larger profits, and with these, finish their studies and help their families have a better way of life.
