Loan Update Entrepreneur: Sam An Location: Kampong Cham, Cambodia Sam An, 55, lives with her husband and five of her seven children in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Sam is a vegetable seller, and her husband is a fisherman. They earn $2.50 and $2 per day, respectively. Sam asked for a loan so so could increase her inventory at her stand. A CREDIT MFI loan officer recently visited Sam to check on her progress. After receiving her loan, Sam bought a variety of goods to sell at her stand. Because she was able to diversify her offering, her income has increased, and this has helped her standard of living. In the future, Sam would like to take out another loan to purchase even more goods for her store. When asked, Sam said she was thankful to CREDIT for its good service, and to Kiva lenders for supporting her loan.
