Mr. Chanphal Leang, 58, is the group leader of five members in Prey Pouch Village in Kampong Chhnang Province. He is a bicycle repairer and the father of four children, all of whom are enrolled in local school. His wife, Mrs. Sokuntheavy Kon, is a farmer and teacher. They currently live in an old house whose roof leaks badly during the rainy season, so he is requesting a loan which, when added to his savings, will allow him to build a new house in the village.
