Claudio and Sonya Vargas live in the community of Las Avispas, the Dominican Republic, with their three children (ages: 8, 7, 5). Loan Progress Update Entrepreneur: Jesus Nuestra Esperanza Group Location: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Dania Gomez and Jesus Nuestra Esperanza have successfully finished this Kiva loan. Dania is the owner of a salon where she cuts and styles her client's hair and sells clothing and fashion accessories. She is the mother of three children of ages 6, 16, and 20. The loan helped Dania significantly and allowed her to grow her business and purchase a hair dryer for her salon. With some of the extra money she made from her business she was able to begin construction on an addition to her house. Dania would like to thank Kiva lenders for their help and to continue lending because it provides others with a great opportunity! On behalf of Dania Gomez, Jesus Nuestra Esperanza, and all of us here at Esperanza International, thank you for your support and effort to fight the global issue of poverty!
