Nimia Del Socorro Arauz

Nimia, a 50-year old teacher, has worked in various pre-school levels in the Caracolitos Negors. She is a single mother of four children (three girls and one boy). One daughter works, and the other three are studying at the university. Since birth she has lived in her mother’s house, which she inherited. The dwelling is constructed of “taquesal” (mud and wood) and it has a roof made of mud tiles. She wants to preserve the structure given she considers it historical, and with previous credits she has been able to make some small maintenance repairs. This eighth loan would help her to raise a new wall, to replace one that is crumbling, and also to make repairs to the roof. She is a person who is much-appreciated by her young students, as well as by the educational community for her responsible nature, her honesty and prestige among the teaching profession. She states she wants to continue working with AFODENIC for the attention they provide and for the loans which have been very opportune in her life.

La Profesora Nimia de 50 años de edad, tiene 18 años de trabajar en el area pre-escolar en los diferentes niveles en los Caracolitos Negros, es madre soltera de 4 hijos (3 mujeres y 1 varon), 1 hija trabaja, los otros 3 con estudios universitarios; desde su nacimiento ha habitado en la vivienda de su mamá, la cual heredo, esta vivienda esta construida de taquesal (barro y madera), techo de tejas de barro, ha querido conservar su estructura, ya que la considera una reliquia, con los creditos anteriores le ha dado un poco de mantenimiento pues han sido bastante bajos, este octavo credito lo incrementa un poco porque necesita levantar una pared que se esta cayendo y revisar el techo; es una persona que se ha sabido ganar el aprecio de sus alumnos que son muy pequeñitos, de la comunidad educativa y de la sociedad por su responsbilidad, honestidad y prestigio en el gremio magisterial, manifiesta continuar trabajando con AFODENIC por la atencion que recibe y sus creditos que han sido oportunos.
