Sin Len

Sin Len, 49, lives with her husband and children in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Sin sells groceries and cakes, and her husband is a construction worker. Sin requested this loan to buy construction tools and groceries to stock her store.

A CREDIT MFI loan officer recently visited Sin to check on her progress. After receiving her loan, Sin used $800 a power-saw, which her husband uses in his construction business. Sin used the remaining $200 to buy groceries for her store. Sin said that her daily income has increased by $1.50 to $6.50. Her standard of living has improved, and she's now able to spend more money investing in her business and educating her children. Sin also mentioned that she was able to purchase a young calf which she will raise so she can use it to work the fields.

In the future, Sin said she wants to take out another loan so her husband can buy more tools for his construction business.

When asked, Sin said she was thankful to CREDIT for its good service, and to Kiva lenders for supporting her loan.
