Paor Chheng is a 48-year-old entrepreneur who helps support her family by running two businesses with her husband. She makes about $3 a day producing Khmer (or rice) wine, one of the most popular beverages in her province. People serve it at parties because it is very cheap and does not harm their health. Her husband, Chou Vy, age 50, is a taxi driver and normally makes around $12 a day . They have three children, all of whom are students.
