At early hours of the morning, still at dawn, in the "Las Mañaneras" market (The Early Risers market, which is so named because products are only sold there between 5-10 a.m.), located on Tumusia street in La Paz, ten women sell clothing, which they make and design themselves. They sell these products both retail and wholesale. These women form part of the "Señor de Santiago" association, which belongs to the main group of Villa Tejana. They work in a disciplined way, and they say that they need to increase their capital to purchase special machinery and to expand their shops so they can increase their production and obviously their profits for the good of themselves and their large families.
