Nancy prepares and sells lunch and during the summer she sells gelatin desserts and other products outside her house. She has also built a pool in her yard that she rents to children in her neighborhood who are looking for summer entertainment.
Nancy is one of the founding partners of the communal bank “Las Auroras en Acción” and was one of the most diligent in gathering women to form the communal bank.
The loan she obtained was very useful because she invested her money in pool repairs so that she can run the pool during the summer. Thanks to the loan her business has done well.
With the S/.1,300 loan that she will pay back in 6 months, she will buy basic products and more ingredients for her lunch business that is part of the Mother’s Club “Purisima Concepción.” She is very happy that she has been able to serve her community.
Nancy’s big dream is to set up her own restaurant where she can serve breakfast and lunch.

La señora Nancy Chávez García tiene 39 años de edad, vive en el sector llamado Aurora Díaz del Distrito de Salaverry, Provincia de Trujillo, Departamento de La Libertad, estudió hasta el tercer año de secundaria. Tiene 2 hijos que aun dependen de ella.
La señora Nancy prepara y vende almuerzo, también en tiempo de verano vende marcianos y gelatina afuera de su casa. Además ha construido una piscina en el patio de su domicilio en el que alquila a los niños de su barrio que deseen divertirse en verano.
La señora Nancy es una de las socias fundadoras del Banco Comunal “Las Auroras en Acción” fue la más empeñosa en reunir a otras mujeres para formar el banco comunal.
El préstamo que obtuvo le fue de mucha utilidad ya que lo invirtió para reparar su piscina de algunas imperfecciones, el cual le serviría para trabajarlo en verano. Gracias a eso le ha ido muy bien en su negocio.
Con el préstamo de S/.1, 300 que pagará en seis meses comprara productos de primera necesidad y demás ingredientes para cocinar para el comedor al que pertenece “Purísima Concepción” ,se siente muy contenta de poder servir a su comunidad.
La señora Nancy tiene un gran sueño es poner su propio restaurante en el que ofrezca desayunos y almuerzo.
