Lucia Perez Zaleta

Lucia Pérez considers herself a reserved person, but very responsible and hard-working. She is married to Carlos Gómez García. They have two sons, Carlos Alberto aged 9, a primary school student, and Brenda Guadalupe, aged 3.

She started her business due to the need to increase her family’s income as her husband’s salary was already frequently not enough to make ends meet: this motivate her to establish her business.

She started-up in February 2003: she was on Vacation in the town of Reynosa, with her sister, who took her to a flea market where she had the idea of buying used or semi-new clothing in bulk to sell in Tampico in order to obtain an income. It was her sister who introduced her to a friend in Reynosa who sold stock more cheaply, and so she was able to increase her profits. She first began selling clothes alone from her house, then in a market close to where she lived and now she is established at several markets in Tampico, which has gone very well.

She is asking for a loan of $300 USD which will be repaid in 4 months in order to buy packs of used seasonal clothing which will help her to have a better variety of stock to offer to her customers and in the market.

Lucia Pérez se considera una persona reservada pero muy responsable y trabajadora. Esta casada con el Sr. Carlos Gómez García Tienen 2 hijos Carlos Alberto de 9 años estudiante de primaria y Brenda Guadalupe de 3 años.

Inició el negocio por la necesidad de tener más ingresos familiares ya que con el sueldo de su esposo muchas veces no alcanza, esa fue la razón que la motivo a poner el negocio.

Comenzó en Febrero de 2003, estaba de vacaciones en la ciudad de Reynosa, con su hermana, la cual la llevó a un mercado rodante de los que llaman “Pulgas” y le dio la idea de comprar “pacas” de ropa usada o semi-nueva para venderla en Tampico para poder obtener un ingreso. Fue su hermana la que la presentó con una amiga en Reynosa ya que esa persona vendía mas barato y así podría obtener mayor ganancia. Primero empezó vendiendo ropa solo en su casa, después en un mercado cerca de donde vive y actualmente ya se instalo en varios mercados de Tampico y le ha ido muy bien.

Solicita un crédito por US $300 que pagara en 4 meses para adquirir pacas de ropa usada de temporada que le ayudará a tener un mayor surtido para ofrecer a sus clientes y en los mercados.
