Nagwa has owned and operated a grocery store. Her loan, disbursed by Lebanese MFI Al Majmoua, Lebanese Association for Development and supported by you Kiva lenders, has been repaid. With the loan capital Nagwa was able to diversify her merchandise and expand her stock. Her business is steady as all of Nagwa’s friends and neighbors know her well and feel comfortable buying from her store. She plans on taking out a new loan upon its repayment.

When we asked Nagwa what her plans were for the future, she said that she would like to continue diversifying her merchandise and keep on improving her business. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with Kiva and Al Majmoua.
