This group of enterprising women is quite strong: they pay their quotas on time, and there are no problems within the group. The women are all in different lines of work: washing, cleaning, general stores, hair salons, clothing sales, fast food, etc.

They want to invest the loan in their businesses; each woman will receive an average of 400,000 guaranies. The women are very grateful to the Fundacion Paraguay for offering an advancement opportunity to women who work, both inside and outside the home. Above all, they are grateful that the foundation is concerned with the wellbeing of their children and the community in which they live.

The women say they are very happy to be able to work together and share their life experiences in their everyday work.

Translated by Cynthia McMurry, Kiva volunteer
