Leonarda

The making of various garments has become the principal activity of Leonarda, a young, enterprising mother that is very talented in weaving sweaters, vests, slips, etc. After putting together a good quantity, she sells them in the inside of the Laguna Temporal market in the city of Juliaca. Leonarda started this business 6 years ago when, together with her husband, they decided to leave their native Capachica to live in Juliaca. They currently live in a rented house, but with much dedication they are managing to save towards buying a piece of land and building a small house where they want to care for and educate their two small children, who are the reason for all of their efforts.

They would like to buy a larger quantity of raw material (different varieties of wool) in order to continue producing in large numbers their beautiful and colorful garments.

La confección de variadas prendas de vestir se ha convertido en la actividad principal de Leonarda, madre joven emprendedora y muy talentosa para el tejido de hermosas chompas, chalecos, enaguas, etc.; luego de juntar una buena cantidad los oferta en el interior del mercado Laguna Temporal de la ciudad de Juliaca.Leonarda inició esta labor hace 6 años, cuando junto a su esposo decidieron salir de su pueblo natal Capachica para radicar en la ciudad de Juliaca. Actualmente viven en una vivienda alquilada pero con mucho empeño están logrando ahorrar para comprar un terreno y construir su pequeña morada, lugar donde desean cuidar y educar a sus 2 pequeños niños, quienes son la razón de su esfuerzo.Desean comprar mayor cantidad de materia prima ( variedad de lana) para seguir produciendo en mayor volumen sus hermosas y coloridas prendas de vestir.
