Journal Entrepreneur: Zibula Atudde Lugazi Group Location: Lugazi, Uganda Some people used to say that Hadijah Namirembe is a tough woman; yes she says she is tough via business because she no longer entertains credit. One time with the previous loans, she almost failed to pay back her loan because she was so lenient with some people taking things on credit but when she stopped the trend, she was surprised that many people would still come in and buy, and then she wondered why she took so long to realize it. Now she has very happy customers who would even tell her what they want in her shop at times and surely once she stocks the product, it is bought. Loans help to satisfy her customers and her family too.
