Maria Correa

Maria Angela is 59 years old. She is married to Geronimo, who's 50 years old. They have been married for 20 years and they assure us that their love gets stronger and bigger each day. Their 3 children are more than proof of their love. They are between the ages of 24, 17, and 16 respectively. She tells us that her older kid is going to college and wants to study computers. The 2 younger kids are going to high school.

Maria Angela is a seamstress. She makes beautiful clothes such as pants, blouses and sweaters which she sells to all whole sellers in the country. Her husband is in public transportation and he travels to different parts of the country.

She tells us that about 25 years ago she used to work as a seamstress in a very well-known store in the city called Riojana. Since then, she has been able to become financially independent by opening up her own dress shop.

Maria Angela tells us with sadness that she was robbed about 5 years ago and they took many of her sewing machines leaving her without her working tools. Since then, she has been applying for loans in order to replace the sewing machines she lost.

At this time, she's requesting a loan to purchase fabrics and threads in huge quantities since she has a lot of oders such as school and work uniforms that she needs to fullfil.

María Ángela tiene 59 años, está casada hace varios años con Geronimo que tiene 50 años de edad. Ellos llevan más de 20 años de casados y aseguran que su amor es cada vez más grande y fuerte. La prueba de su amor son sus tres hijos que hoy tienen ya 24, 17 y 16 años respectivamente. Ella comenta que el hijo mayor está cursando la carrera universitaria de ingeniería informática mientras que los dos hijos menores aún van a la secundaria.

María Ángela se dedica a la confección de prendas de vestir de todo tipo, principalmente pantalones, camisas y bermudas que vende al por mayor a distintos negocios del país. Su esposo es transportista y actualmente realiza fletes a sojeros de diversas zonas del país.

Ella cuenta que anteriormente trabajaba como costurera para una muy conocida tienda de la capital, llamada la Riojana, hace aproximadamente 25 años ella logró independizarse y monto su propio taller de costuras.

María Ángela nos comento con tristeza que hace 5 años fue victima de un robo, donde la despojaron de varias maquinas, quedándose sin sus herramientas fundamentales de trabajo. Desde ese momento han recurrido a los préstamos a fin de adquirir nuevamente dichas maquinarias.

En esta oportunidad necesita de un crédito para comprar telas en grandes cantidades al igual que hilos, pues tiene muchos pedidos de uniformes para colegios y oficinas que debe cubrir.
