She remarried a few years ago to an American who lives in Houston- he is the man in the cowboy hat in the painting behind the picture. He looks for deals on her behalf. The biggest selling items right now are bed spread sets- particularly Spiderman and Disney themes for kids. She believes in high quality items that last, even if they are more expensive. Her customers come back.

Marina believes these are the things that you have to do to "salir adelante" or "move forward" with your life. She believes that a strong work ethic is necessary to succeed and that is the message she has shared with her children.
